Watch Out for These Books Coming to the Big Screen!

I enjoy watching movies that are based on books.  My favorites have been the Harry Potter series, "The Thief Lord",  and anything by Roald Dahl such as "Matilda" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".  Three movies that are coming out this year have got me excited.

"BFG" written by Roald Dahl will be out on July 1, 2016.  I love anything written by Roald Dahl so I am excited for this one.  It looks like it will be a great one to see this summer!

"Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" will be released on September 30, 2016.  This book is available in the library in both the original book and the graphic novel.  The book has been popular among students and I'm sure the movie will be a popular one too!

The final book to movie will be in theaters on November 18, 2016.  "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" written by J.K. Rowling is a spin off the Harry Potter series.  It is actually one of the books that students at Hogwarts have to study while in school.  Our favorite characters from the series may not be in this movie but it looks like it will be just as magical.

Come to the library to read these books and then go out and watch the movie!  Comment below about what you thought of the book and the movie.
